Meet the Trainer
My name is Ashley Whitcraft....
I have been training dogs since 2000. I began my training thru 4-H which I had been active in for 10 years. I have earned several obedience, agility, and showmanship titles. A couple of my accomplishments are receiving top 10 in agility placements at the state level and 1st in Advanced B agility at state in 2009. I have been showing Hunter my dog in UKC and AKC for the last seven years. Currently I am in my third year at Indiana State University studing athletic training.
Agility is an obstacle course for your dog. While in training you learn to gain control and speed. The more practice you have the better your dog will get at agility. Some of the different obstacles are A-frame, dog walk, teeter totter, jumps, weave poles, tunnels, and many more. Through this course you will learn the basics needed to begin your agility career.
Agility can be shown at the AKC and UKC levels. Agility is based on accuracy and time. Once you become more accurate on the different obstacles your time will improve.
Agility is a learning process and takes time to master. For further details you can email or call us.
